Regular cleaning and rust removal

Lubrication and inspection of key connectors
Pins and bolts: All exposed pins and bolts should be regularly coated with butter or grease. This effectively prevents rainwater from seeping into the pin hole and causing rust and jamming, ensuring smooth assembly and preventing loosening of bolts

Assembly inspection: Before each use, check whether all pins, bolts, beam clamps and wind-resistant tie rods are complete, damaged or loose

Structural deformation and condition monitoring
Deflection measurement: The deflection (amount of sag) in the span of the bridge should be measured regularly. If the deflection increases and the speed is abnormal, it may indicate that the wear of the pin and pin hole is intensifying, which needs to be paid attention to

Component inspection: Regularly check trusses, beams, bridge decks, etc. for deformation, cracks or damage. If deformed components are found, they should be stored separately to avoid additional stress caused by mixed piles

Weld and hole position: Conduct a "physical examination" once a month, focusing on checking whether the weld is cracked and whether the connection hole is worn or deformed

Standardized storage and protection
Storage environment: When storing for a long time, the beret should be raised to avoid direct contact with wet ground
And use a tarp (such as a raincloth) to cover it to prevent it from sun exposure and rain

Classified storage: Different components should be classified and stacked in an orderly manner to avoid deformation caused by extrusion or collision.
Maintenance interval recommendations
Daily/after each use : Cleaning and initial inspection are carried out.
Regular (recommended monthly): Conduct a comprehensive "physical examination" that focuses on welds, holes, and rust
